Our staff truly lives the “teamwork” philosophy and strives to provide an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Many patients have commented on what a friendly office Grand Dental Center is, and it is our goal that everyone who walks in our door will feel that way.

Dr. Lisa Johnson: Dr. Johnson received her undergraduate degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and in 1998 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Minnesota. Her dental experience includes two years as an associate with her father at Sheridan Dental Clinic in Plentywood, MT and one year in Waseca, MN prior to starting in Grand Rapids with Dr. Michael Nielsen in 2001. She and Dr. Nielsen practiced together for six years before his retirement in 2007.

Continuing Education is important to Dr. Johnson, and she takes part in numerous courses annually to keep her dental knowledge and skills sharp, and to keep abreast of current technologies and materials. Dr. Johnson is an active member of the Minnesota Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She also participates in local charity events such as Give Kids A Smile Day and the Teddy Bear Clinic at the Children First Annual Children’s Fair.

Dr. Johnson is married with two young sons, and she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, singing with her church choirs, dabbling in photography, and spending time with friends. She is also a Twins fan!

Dr. Tom Lidahl

Dr. Tom Lidahl: Grand Dental Center welcomed Dr. Tom Lidahl in September 2012.  Dr. Lidahl will be working on a part-time basis, and Dr. Johnson is particularly excited to work with him again, as it gives her another opportunity to work with her father!  Here's a little bit about Dr. Tom:

Dr. Tom Lidahl was born and raised in Plentywood, Montana. He earned a B.A. degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Oregon Dental School in Portland, Oregon. Following his tour of duty, Dr. Lidahl moved back to Plentywood  and began his private practice by establishing Sheridan Dental Clinic.

Professionally, Dr. Lidahl is a past President of the Montana Dental Association.
